Major League Archery- Premier Missouri Whitetail Hunting Memberships
To create and maintain a premier archery experience, protect our deer herd for long-term trophy potential, and build an exceptional community of like-minded hunters, we have established the following club guidelines. These rules are the foundation of our operation and are designed to ensure safety, fairness, and a world-class experience for every member. We ask that all potential members review this information carefully to fully understand our mission and what is expected before applying for membership.
This membership is for passionate, conservation-minded bowhunters who desire to hunt only mature bucks and help manage our doe population. This is not a place to come to drink and party. While members may bring their own alcohol to the lodge, it must be consumed in a very responsible manner. Any drunkenness or disruptive behavior will result in being asked to leave the next day without a refund. We expect each member to respect other hunters on the property at all times. All members will also sign a release and hold harmless form prior to their first day of hunting.
We currently allow crossbows. Compound bows, longbows, and recurve bows are all welcome. A lighted nock of some kind is required to be used on all hunting arrows, and your name and phone number must be on each arrow. Members are also required to use a safety harness at all times while entering, exiting, or hunting from any elevated position and must prove they have a harness upon arrival.
Yes. Crossbows are allowed to be used in the Major League Archery.
There are 2,097 acres to hunt, providing more than enough stand locations for each member. Arguing over hunting spots will not be tolerated. Our Land Manager will govern which locations members are allowed to hunt on a day-to-day basis, with decisions guided by factors like hunting pressure, wind, food sources, and recent sightings. To ensure safety and respect, all members are required to have a mapping service like Land ID (formerly MapRight) or onX to stay on our properties, as trespassing can result in immediate membership cancellation.
Members must sign in and sign out on our online portal each time they come onto any property to hunt; signing in constitutes that day being counted towards the member's 12 days. Each member will also be placed on our shared location services map upon arrival and remain on it until departure, so everyone is visible to each other while hunting. Knowingly going into an area where another member is hunting is prohibited.
We enforce a 4.5-year-old, 8-point minimum rule to manage our herd for mature bucks. There is no penalty for the age of the buck, but there is a $1,000.00 penalty for harvesting anything less than an 8-point. Furthermore, the harvesting of any 10-point buck that gross green scores less than 145” will also result in a $1,000.00 fine. We must let 10-points with significant runway for antler growth walk. Honesty is crucial; untruthful members who do not share details on a shot at a buck that is not recovered will have their membership reviewed for renewal.
The period after the Thanksgiving Break until the last day of the Missouri bow season is "Open Hunting." During this time, members can hunt our existing stand locations or bring their own stand to hunt a self-chosen location, with prior approval from the Land Manager. Stand locations are first-come, first-serve and cannot be placed within 300 yards of another member's stand. Members are limited to using eight of their twelve hunting days during this period and can only hang one stand at a time. Stands must have the member's name and phone number and must be removed by the end of their last scheduled hunt day.
We welcome and encourage members to help us manage predator and furbearer populations on the farms. Between the end of the Missouri bow season and February 28th, members can hunt and trap these animals under specific ordinances. We offer a bounty payback system for successfully removing predators or furbearers, which comes as a reduction of your membership dues for the upcoming year. Bounties start at $50.00 per coyote or bobcat, with other amounts for smaller furbearers.
Each member gives Major League Archery the authority to use their name, image, and likeness for our social media, digital marketing, and website. We may take images and videos of members while on the property for these purposes. Furthermore, the member gives Major League Archery the right and authority to create a replica of any buck harvested on the property at our sole cost, and the member agrees to work with us in a reasonable manner to get the replica created.
Yes. Major League Archery reserves the right to modify or change rules as it deems necessary to achieve our goals of managing the habitat, growing a healthy and mature deer herd, and creating the best possible hunting experience for all our members.
